Every Friday, 5/6E students are engaged in Physical Education lessons run by our superb Tennis coach, Rob. Students have developed a range of skills including; rallying, backhand and forehand shots, serving and playing in Doubles format. Throughout these lessons, 5/6E students have developed greater hand eye coordination, body positioning and footwork. They have been learning about the game of tennis and have shown great improvement over the last four lessons. I am looking forward to seeing more development over the remaining few weeks. On Friday the 28th of February, 5/6E along with other Stage 3 classes walked to North Broulee beach to do our annual Clean Up Broulee, as part of Clean Up Australia Day. As the fires burnt a lot of the dunes, there wasn't a lot of rubbish to pick up. We did all learn about the regeneration of this part of the landscape and helped to remove rubbish that the fires didn't claim. Thank you to the students for your willing participation in this initiative. Let's strive to maintain our beautiful environment, better yet, let's do more to make it even better!
